This is a boundary action brought by Herbert C. Porterfield against James A. Spurgeon to fix the boundary between their respective properties in Vernon Parish. The parties are the record owners of contiguous forty acre tracts. Both claim the ownership of a strip of land located in the East half (E ½) of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter (NE ¼ of SW ¼) of Section 3, Township 2 North, Range 6 West, Vernon Parish, Louisiana...
