During the day of July 12, 1977, Bryant and Ward came to an agreement by which Ward would purchase a car from Bryant. The agreement provided that Ward would pay a specified amount weekly until the entire purchase price was paid. After work that day, Ward accompanied Bryant to Bryant's home to take possession of the car. Bryant removed all his property from the car and delivered possession of the vehicle to Ward.
