SCHWARTZ, Judge.

Dade County, the defendant below, appeals from a final money judgment, entered after a non-jury trial, in favor of the plaintiff-appellee, Hospital Affiliates International, Inc., the owner of Miami-Dade General Hospital. The judgment, which was for the bills of two otherwise indigent patients, was based on the theory that, while hospitalized, they were "county prisoners" for whose medical expenses the county was responsible.
