The defendant, Lemuel James Larson, appeals from a judgment of conviction of the crime of theft of property. We reverse and remand for a new trial.

Larson was originally charged in Steele County through a complaint signed by Larry Goughnour dated the 22nd of June, 1977. The charge was that of theft of property in violation of Sections 12.1-23-021 and 12.1-23-05,2 N.D.C.C.<...
