Hagenkord was convicted of first-degree sexual assault in violation of sec. 940.225(1) (a), Stats., and of injury by conduct regardless of life in violation of sec. 940.23. Defendant challenges his convictions upon three grounds: (1) the evidentiary use of hospital records of examination and treatment of the victim and explication by a witness unrelated to the records...
