When the position of a tenured teacher is abolished and the teacher can be retained on a regular teaching schedule only by assignment to teach a course outside the teacher's area of certification, the board of education is not required to arrange such a schedule, although permitted under regulations of the Commissioner of Education, when it demonstrates that such a schedule is not educationally or financially...
