The defendant was found guilty by a jury of twelve of causing the death of Frank Massaro, while committing or attempting to commit a robbery, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c and also guilty of the crime of assault in the first degree upon Jean Massaro, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59 (a) (1) and of robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (1).
