Mr. JUSTICE LINDBERG delivered the opinion of the court:

Plaintiffs, Melvin and Eveline Smith, filed suit for forcible entry and detainer (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 57, par. 1 et seq.) to obtain possession of real estate sold to defendant, George Christofalos, under an installment land sale contract. The trial court granted plaintiffs possession of the property based upon defendant's default in payments. Defendant appeals.
