These are actions against individual doctors employed by the New Hampshire Hospital, the superintendent of the hospital, and the State hospital itself for the negligent treatment of an involuntarily committed mental patient. Before trial all the defendants moved to dismiss the plaintiff's causes of action against them on the grounds of sovereign immunity.
