Plaintiffs brought this action against Transamerica Life & Annuity Insurance Co. (Transamerica) and Norman Thompson to recover on an insurance policy written on the life of Robert Williams. Transamerica denied coverage on the ground that Williams had committed suicide. Plaintiffs filed a total of five complaints.
