GILLETTE, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a judgment of the trial court, sitting without a jury, finding that defendant negligently damaged plaintiff's dock, and awarding plaintiff $3,600 damages. We affirm.

Plaintiff owns property along the east bank of the Willamette River in Milwaukie, Oregon. When he purchased the property in 1971, it included a float dock on the river. As modified by plaintiff, the dock was held out from the river bank by two types of apparatus...
