In this action plaintiff Genyce E. Burr challenges the constitutionality of Arkansas' statutory scheme pertaining to the involuntary commitment of alleged alcoholics. The plaintiff brings this action individually and on behalf of all other persons who are now subject, or who in the future might be subjected, to involuntary commitment on the basis of alleged alcoholism.
