The Methodist Home, a non-profit health-care facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina, petitions to review and set aside an order of the National Labor Relations Board; the Board in turn cross-petitions for enforcement. The Board, in the order challenged, found that the petitioner had violated § 8(a)(5) and (1) of the National Labor Relations Act, by refusing to bargain with the Union (Local 579, AFL-CIO, CLC, Service Employees International...
