In this suit plaintiff, Edco Properties (Edco) seeks specific performance of an option to purchase immovable property. On October 29, 1975, the defendant, Fred J. Landry, entered into a lease-option agreement with a partnership known as Edco Properties, the object of which was a 97 acre tract of land located in Lafayette Parish.
