LENT, Justice.

Plaintiff brought this action in strict products liability against the manufacturers1 of a wood fiber dryer used in the fiberboard mill where plaintiff was employed. While inspecting the dryer's interior, plaintiff was burned when an explosion occurred within the dryer and flame was emitted therefrom. Plaintiff's amended complaint alleged in pertinent part:
