Plaintiffs seek a declaratory judgment to the effect that they, by virtue of possession by their ancestors in title for 30 years as owners of a certain tract of land in Calcasieu Parish, should be declared the sole owners and that the defendant,1 an original co-owner, no longer has any interest in the property.
