The 55-year-old claimant was hired by Beetle Plastics, Inc., of Gene Autry, Oklahoma, in October 1974 to work as a "trainee and helper." Before long he was assigned to the job of sanding fiber glass and assisting in "lay-up" work in the interior of large tanks being constructed by Beetle.
