Defendant Taylor was charged with and convicted of second-degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, and menacing. The charges arose out of two incidents in which the defendant allegedly abducted a mailman, stole his mail truck and then, in the guise of delivering a package, attempted to rob the safe in a home.

On appeal, the defendant asserts three grounds for reversal...
