Thurman Chennault, the claimant, was awarded compensation under the Workmen's Compensation Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) by an arbitrator of the Industrial Commission for injuries he sustained while in the employ of Chicago Extruded Metals, the respondent.
