Reederei D. Oltmann, K.G., a foreign corporation, appeals a judgment entered against it in personam as owner of two container vessels on which damaged cloth goods were shipped to plaintiff, Yeramex International, under a bill of lading issued by the vessels' time charterer, Maritime Container Lines, Ltd. ("MCL"). MCL, through its agents, accepted and loaded the goods into sealed containers owned by MCL, failing to note on the bill...
