McDONALD, Chief Justice.

This is an original habeas corpus proceeding brought pursuant to Article 1824a VATS, in which relator Dennis Lloyd Roberts, seeks release from the custody of the Sheriff of McLennan County.

Relator Dennis Lloyd Roberts and Susan Eve Roberts were divorced on March 13, 1978 in the 170th District Court of McLennan County. The decree required relator to pay $200. per month child support for the parties' two minor children...
