On June 17, 1977 separate bills of information were filed in East Baton Rouge Parish charging that the two defendants, between August 4, 1976 and June 1, 1977, violated the Election Campaign Finance Disclosure Act, La.R.S. 18:1490, in that they, being candidates for public office, failed to file with the Supervisory Committee on Campaign Finance the financial disclosure reports and affidavits required by the Act...
