NEWMAN, Chief Judge:

Appellant seeks reversal of his conviction for robbery. D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2901. The only evidence offered at trial directly linking appellant with the crime was a police detective's hearsay testimony concerning the victim's pretrial identification of appellant. Appellant argues that the trial court committed reversible error in admitting this testimony in light of the victim's testimony at trial. We reverse and remand with instructions...
