The City of Houston (Houston) and R. W. Robinson appeal from a judgment based on jury findings in a suit for personal injuries filed by Evelyn Deshotel, Jewel Schwabe, and Lorene Graham. The appellants contend that the plaintiffs failed to comply with the mandatory notice provision of Houston's city charter, that the trial court's amended judgment is void and that there is no evidence to support the court's awarding a recovery against defendant Robinson...
