Pursuant to ORS 27.010, the parties submitted to the circuit court for determination without action or suit and based upon stipulated facts the question "whether or not an enforceable and binding settlement had been achieved" by them in an action for personal injuries involving a minor pending appeal by the defendant in that case from a judgment for $500,000 in favor of the plaintiff.1<...
