The sole issue presented on appeal is the constitutionality of sec. 54.03(1), Stats. 1975, which provides that youthful offender status cannot be granted to a person found guilty of a violation of law for which the maximum penalty provided is life imprisonment. The trial courts sustained the validity of the statute. We affirm the judgments and orders.
