The source of this appeal is an action for personal injuries sustained by the respondent (plaintiff) as a result of a rear end collision with a Consolidated Taxicab which was then being driven by appellant (defendant) Christian. The collision occurred on September 6, 1977 when the plaintiff, southbound on Broadway, had stopped the automobile she was driving at the intersection of 5th and Broadway...
