This is a venue case. Plaintiff, Santleben, sued defendant, Taylor-Evans Seed Company, in Medina County, Texas, for damages resulting from plaintiff's purchase and use of allegedly defective seed manufactured by defendant. Defendant filed a plea of privilege to be sued in the county of its residence, Swisher County, Texas.
