Petitioner Tolbert appeals from a judgment denying him habeas corpus relief after he had been found guilty of murder and sentenced to a term of 15 years to life imprisonment. His contention on this appeal is that the District Court erred in failing to find a federal constitutional violation in the fact that the state trial court at his murder trial allowed the state to call a witness, one Jordan, who had previously given testimony before the Grand Jury...
