CONNOR, Justice.

Appellant was convicted after a jury trial of violating AS 11.15.134(a),1 and now appeals.

The testimony at trial showed that Buchanan worked at a shoe store in a shopping mall in Fairbanks, Alaska. On April 20, 1977, a six year old girl, J.T., appeared at the store.
