Elijah Iford, Sr. was charged by affidavit with operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended in violation of La. R.S. 32:415. After trial in the Lake Charles City Court, he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to pay a fine of one hundred dollars plus costs or serve twenty days in jail.
