Avery Newman was convicted of stealing cattle over a value of $50, §§ 560.156 and 560.161, RSMo 1975 Supp. Following a jury trial he was sentenced to ten years imprisonment.

On this appeal Newman contends the court erred in allowing witnesses to refer to the same exhibit after the rule excluding witnesses had been invoked, admitting an exhibit, and overruling his motion for directed verdict...
