This is an appeal by Dr. Harry C. Gibson, an ophthalmologist of Kalispell, Montana, from a judgment of $175,000 against him in favor of the plaintiff, Harold M. Frisnegger on a malpractice claim.

Dr. Gibson admitted liability during the course of the trial. In his appeal from the judgment in the District Court, Eleventh Judicial District, Flathead County, he contends that the damage award was excessive, and is not supported by the evidence...
