This is a suit for conversion. Juanita O. Cantu sued David Diaz and his wife for damages as a result of alleged conversions of: 1) $2,000.00 cash from a safety deposit box; 2) a certificate of deposit in the amount of $2,373.59; and 3) the proceeds of the payment of $4,012.70 on an insurance claim.
