This is an appeal from the dismissal by the District Court of plaintiffs' petition in error. The plaintiffs-appellants are the owners of property abutting West "E" Street in the defendant City of North Platte. The petition in error was filed after the city council, sitting as a board of equalization, levied special assessments for improvements to West "E" Street. The special assessments were levied pursuant to Nebraska's "gap and extend"...
