MACK, Associate Judge:

Appellant challenges his conviction of two traffic violations: driving with a suspended operator's permit,1 and operating a vehicle without a current inspection sticker.2 As to the first conviction we remand for resentencing; as to the second, we reverse for the failure of the government to meet its burden of proof.
