The First National Bank of Memphis, Texas, instituted suit against Jimmy Roden to recover on a promissory note and to foreclose its alleged security lien against the proceeds from an agreed sale of cattle. The Bank joined Helen Fisher, who claimed ownership of 158 head of the cattle involved in the agreed sale,1 and others claiming an interest in the alleged collateral as parties defendant.
