This is an appeal from the circuit court of Peoria County. The defendant Patrick Hunt was originally convicted in a jury trial on two counts of armed violence. On appeal this conviction was reversed and the cause remanded for a new trial. Upon remand, plea negotiations were entered into, and the defendant pleaded guilty to an amended charge of aggravated battery. Judgment was entered...
