In an initial consideration of this case, the panel affirmed an adjudication of delinquency on the ground that evidentiary corroboration was not required to sustain the conviction of a 13-year-old male for simple assault of a "sexual nature" upon the person of a 12-year-old female. See In re L.A.G., D.C.App., 396 A.2d 981 (1979). Or. petition for rehearing or rehearing en banc, unopposed by the government...
