In July, 1970, petitioner was sentenced to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of 3 1/3 to 10 years following his conviction of the crime of manslaughter in the first degree. He was released on parole in November, 1974, and was thereafter arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a dangerous weapon.
