This case involves a dispute as to the rights of a lessee and an option holder to the proceeds of a judicial sale after a superior creditor has foreclosed upon the property.

On May 1, 1974, Langford Land Company leased property located at 611 Bourbon Street in New Orleans to Oscar Stafford and included within the lease an option to purchase. Stafford assigned this lease to Crater Corporation, which then assigned it to Southern Marigold, Inc...
