OPINION

HASTINGS, J.

Following a preliminary hearing, defendant Marquez was charged by information with the sale of heroin in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11352. Defendant was convicted of that charge in a jury trial and appeals, contending erroneous admission of evidence by the trial court merits reversal.
