Lawson purchased a pickup truck from appellee on January 31, 1977. On January 31, 1978, the anniversary date of his purchase, Lawson filed suit under the Truth in Lending Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1640(e), for monetary damages. Appellee moved to dismiss on the ground that the one-year statute of limitations had run.
