Plaintiff, National Bank of Commerce of Brownsville, Texas, sued defendant, Andres Cortez, for breach of a written agreement guaranteeing payment of a certain note executed by Cortez on behalf of Southmost Motors, Inc., d/b/a Southmost Dodge, and payable to plaintiff bank.
