The defendant, Arthur Jones, was charged by indictment with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 56 1/2, pars. 1401(a)(2), (d)). During the State's presentation of evidence at trial, it was revealed that an undercover police officer perjured himself while testifying before the grand jury...
