In January, 1971, defendant registered as a student at the State University of New York at Buffalo. The tuition and fees owed by defendant for attendance at the university amounted to $215.50. On May 5, 1971, defendant withdrew from the university and plaintiff commenced this action to recover defendant's alleged unpaid tuition and fees.
