Defendant Lawrence Moody and a codefendant, Jane Perna, were charged by information in the Circuit Court of Will County with the offense of burglary. Defendant and Perna were tried together in one proceeding, defendant's cause being before a jury, while Perna's cause was before the court alone. Defendant was convicted of the offense charged and sentenced to two to six years in prison...
