Defendant's conviction arose out of an armed robbery at a store in Queens on October 22, 1974, at about 7:00 P.M. Three officers, who were on plainclothes patrol in a brown, unmarked GMC van, observed three males in a green 1967 Oldsmobile sedan cruising slowly and peering into windows.
