The minor-respondent, Alexander Young, was adjudged delinquent based on the offense of burglary (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 19-1) and committed to the Department of Corrections, Juvenile Division. On appeal, respondent contends the State failed to prove at the adjudicatory hearing that he committed the offense before he reached 17 years of age, and the court erred...
