This is an appeal in a criminal action from a jury verdict which found Gary Duvaul (defendant-appellant) guilty of aggravated kidnapping (K.S.A. 21-3421) and felony murder (K.S.A. 21-3401).

His principal contentions on appeal concern the constitutionality of the venue statute (K.S.A. 22-2603) and alleged misconduct by the prosecutors during the trial and closing argument. The appellant also...
